I have enjoyed the cooler weather. The older I get, the less I care for these hot humid summers, so I ain't complaining. Its been the mildest summer temperature-wise I can remember

We’re getting to 95 for the first time next week. Unheard of in my 40 years In Central Texas. I have a fear that August is going to be the gates of hell.

I was talking to some customers in El Paso and they’re having days in the 80s and flooding.

I have a vegetable garden that is staying saturated to the point my soil is nothing short of muck most of the time.

Walking the rows picking okra daily is like walking in a swamp with me sinking past my ankles in mud and waiting for the plants to die due to root rot if it doesn't ease up soon.

Okra is one of my favorite summer crops simply because it is drought and heat tolerant, but not this year as far as drought.

Every damn day, today straight line winds with the thunderstorm took out power for almost 3 hours. I’ve been here pretty much for 40 years and I don’t remember this much rain, especially during the summer.

So some spots in coastal Mississippi are running above their normal yearly total already. Most of SELA are approaching their yearly totals too.

Oddly enough, it's been wet as hell lately in Colorado too. Monsoon moisture getting into the mountains.

I’ve literally been cutting my grass in segments for like a month now. Just getting in what I can, when I can.

I gotta be the only person here who’s not bothered by continuous rain. I think my spiritual home is the British Isles or something
