Lived here 12 years and I honestly don't remember a summer this wet.

Sure you get your usual pop up storms in the afternoon maybe once every week... but this is ridiculous

It's driving me mad

It's rained what seems like 75% of the days this year. It hasn't been just the summer. I'm used to daily afternoon storms during the summer.

Meanwhile the upper plains are in a drought, they make a lot of our food up there.

It’s bad enough when it’s raining twice a day pretty much every day, but we’ve had several days in the last two months that it rained 3 or 4 times in one day.

Try being a pool owner. I’ve been to HomeDepot, Lowe’s etc every week buying more pool shite than I have in the last 3 yrs. (Not a subtle brag)

No lie. I went up there last week. Rained the whole way there and back, but not there.

At 06:45 this morning it was raining here with the sun out. The evening showers can't even wait until the evening to piss on my day.

Yes and it’s better than 98 degrees with no wind.

Also, get used to making ruts in your yard so you can cut your grass

I have enjoyed the cooler weather. The older I get, the less I care for these hot humid summers, so I ain't complaining. Its been the mildest summer temperature-wise I can remember.

The only thing that has truly sucked is driving through it when traveling long distances.

I keep thinking this rainy pattern can’t continue for too much longer, but then it does. Mushrooms popping up in the yard, can’t keep up with all the muddy kids shoes, and haven’t seen the sun in 3 damn days
