No. The outskirts of Seattle and San Diego is probably the best.

Wow, maybe the local government should implement controlled rent pricing.

Anything that has Seattle as good in the top 100 is a load of crap. Gridlock is insane, drugs and homelessness is everywhere, cost of living in Seattle is still bonkers for even someone with no debt and making 100K a year, housing is beyond unaffordable, and the local government is beyond inept.

Not meaning to get political but we all know how Seattle and San Fran have turned out. I'm afraid of that being Austin's future

No. He found one photo of a bad area. That is obviously representative of the entire city. He clearly is well informed, and you’re the dumb one.

1,7,8 are great places to live if you're a bum and/or prefer shitting in public.

Seattle has fewer issues than both SF and Portland, which are both above it somehow.

I heard Seattle has the highest suicide rates. Something to do with 300 days out of the year being cloudy and dark.

What I don't understand is: How can you be homeless in Colorado? Those winters are way too cold to bear in a tent. Do these people migrate seasonally?

Sounds like Madisonville, except add in high crime.

front range winters aren't THAT bad, really. they do get snow, but like 3 days later itll be sunny and 75 for no reason.

you'd be amazed how many homeless ppl are in places like salt lake city, billings Montana.

No. I love visiting, but like any other Democratic run major metro, it will have the same problems.

"any major metro" also fits.

That said, we have a high avg. salary, lots of jobs, access to a ton of outdoor activities (not that you’d want to do them over the last couple weeks when it’s averaged about 102 each day), and we’re a highly educated metro area.

this was always what made Austin great.. 20 yeard ago with fewer people and a more "authentic scene" food ,music, the "weirdness" it was a very unique place,, almost a libertraian lifestyle, cause even with all the hippies and weirdos it was STILL Texas, that was the combination that made it Austin

now because

its a lot of Californians that are taking the Texas ouf it and just TRYING HARD to be the weird hippie thing,,but now its done for money
