New Orleans was the 19th most dangerous city in the country in 2018 as far as overall violent crime. Nashville ranked higher actually.

Look at the crime ranking above buddy.

New Orleans is not near as dangerous as you out of state people think.

I say that as someone who lived in Austin, liked living in Austin, and still likes Austin. But it is what it is.

That’s what I look for in a city. Over healthy living, education, safety, career opportunities, a good place to build a family, etc. if there’s no culture, I’m out. In fact, we’re planning a culture outing tomorrow.

I am from Austin. Inside city limits unlike all these Cedar Park / Round Rock queers.

I was surprised to see Nashville ahead of Nola. The article claims it's based on FBI crime stats though. Little Rock at #6 and the absence of BR and Birmingham was a bit of a surprise too.

If everyone was murdered at noon on a Saturday, you’d have bigger things to worry about. 40/100,000 is high but not 100% as you somehow misinterpreted from the article.

Exactly, I always say it's a way nicer baton rouge. Br should strive to be more like it. But it won't.
