There is a charm and culture to NO.

There was a charm and culture to Austin, but it’s diminishing by the day.

New Orleans was the 19th most dangerous city in the country in 2018 as far as overall violent crime. Nashville ranked higher actually.

I dislike Austin greatly so I’m not the right person to make that judgement.

Look at the crime ranking above buddy.

New Orleans is not near as dangerous as you out of state people think.

I say that as someone who lived in Austin, liked living in Austin, and still likes Austin. But it is what it is.

A few posts above has Houston at #22 and Nola at #19. This is all violent crime, not just murder rate.

I was genuinely curious. Seems a bit surprising but not out of the realm of possibility for sure.

That’s what I look for in a city. Over healthy living, education, safety, career opportunities, a good place to build a family, etc. if there’s no culture, I’m out. In fact, we’re planning a culture outing tomorrow.

I am from Austin. Inside city limits unlike all these Cedar Park / Round Rock queers.

Austin has sucked arse since around 2010.

There’s no need for you to be upset.

If you want your cookie cutter corporate playground you can have it. Just don’t tell me NOLA wants to be Austin bc that’s a LOL irl worthy statement if I’ve ever seen one.

I’ve been walking around Nola all day today and have managed to not get killed. Amazing isn’t it??

I was surprised to see Nashville ahead of Nola. The article claims it's based on FBI crime stats though. Little Rock at #6 and the absence of BR and Birmingham was a bit of a surprise too.

If everyone was murdered at noon on a Saturday, you’d have bigger things to worry about. 40/100,000 is high but not 100% as you somehow misinterpreted from the article.

Exactly, I always say it's a way nicer baton rouge. Br should strive to be more like it. But it won't.

Even the bleeding liberals wouldn't be able to hack it there.
