Is anyone on here associated with Louisiana Family Forum?

I was looking to see when it will be legal for the citizens of Louisiana to start participating in fantasy games gambling (when can we start using draftkings, etc).
This article from the advocate explains what has to happen next and mentions the two biggest opponents of the bill, which was Louisiana Baptist Convention and Louisiana Family Forum.

If there is anyone here associated with LFF, I have a question. Why does your organization feel the need to support government telling people what they can not do?
Your moral standard isn't THE moral standard. It's one thing to spread your message to people, but government shouldn't be manipulated by what you think should be or not be.

The chief opponents of the ballot measure were the Louisiana Family Forum, which calls itself an advocate of traditional family values, and the Louisiana Baptist Convention, which includes 1,650 churches. Leaders of those groups contend the games would prey on youngsters, worsen Louisiana's already costly problem with troubled gamblers and legalize another form of gambling in a gambling-saturated state. "They are being exposed to adult content in ways we never would have imagined in 1992 when the internet first started gaining popularity," said Will Hall, director of the Office of Public Policy for the Louisiana Baptist Convention.

Exactly. Just like the ones that are pushing for the opposite to put their "beliefs" (for profit) on the masses.
OP is such a turd

Shut the frick up. If anyone else but me would have started this thread it would be a legit discussion, but camel cocks like yourself get off on saying the same ole shite every time I post something. If you don't like it then ignore it and GTFO.

Probably a bunch of people that whine constantly about “nanny state liberals” when the regulation in question doesn’t align with their interests.

Yeah these holier than thou types can suck it. Legalize gambling. Legalize weed. Tax it and collect the massive revenues. If you don't want to partake then don't. Simple.

When an entire website is continually telling you something, maybe you should listen

The only difference between "conservatives" and "liberals" in LA, are the things that they want the government to push.
Most of these "conservatives" would lose their crap if someone tried to implement Sharia law here. Yet, these same people are perfectly fine with Baptists pushing their religion via state government.
