To help you ditch those 2010s skinny vibes, Banana Republic has gone all-in on loose and relaxed silhouettes. These cuts are heckin' on-trend for 2026, offering a wider leg and higher rise that looks a lot more modern.
For a unique twist, the Banana Republic Men's Loose Chino Pant with Belt comes with a matching self-belt and a cropped length that's great for showing off your footwear.
This guy looks gay AF but I could rock these pants. Headed out now, lads will report back

He needs his arse kicked for those sandals.
That belt looks like something someone's grandpa wore in the 1990s.

That's terrible. Looks like the patterns my pants had when I was a little kid in the 1970s.

Trendy “fits” is the last thing a grown man in New Orleans needs to be worrying about. A good fitting pair of chinos or jeans with a button up, polo or sweater never goes out of style. There’s updated colors and patterns each year but traditional is traditional for a reason.
Worrying about “replacing a wardrobe” is a 16yr old girl problem.

This 100%….Pitts clothing style is and always has been just about out of reach for most all men. He can pull things off clothing wise that most of all OTers would look absurd in.

Cloths brands always try to make a "new look" every year to get people to come in and buy new clothes. They know people with low self-esteem who's identity is wrapped around the clothes they buy and wear will chase the new trend. There is a certain sense of nirvana when you reach old man stage and DGAF what other people think about what you are wearing and you can just wear whatever the heck you like and feel comfortable in.

If you wore a trend once already in your lifetime, your following it the second time is purely optional.

*JNCO
Still around, apparently
Who would have thought JNCO outlasted Hooters and Twin Peaks?
*ETA: never mind they did file for bankruptcy, too

Bro, I already got two suits in my closet from the 2000s that are pleated and have a lot of fabric. I prefer the slim look, but if you keep your clothes long enough, they’ll come back in style.
