Is Accounting the most useful all around class anyone can take in college?

I struggle to think of any other class that has the wide applicability and usefulness in everyday life that accounting has. Frankly, the 1000 and 2000 level classes should be required for any degree curriculum to help students succeed in the world outside of academia.

I feel like most of it I learned on my own well before I took that class, but I suppose for many that may not be the case.

I use what I learned in accounting more than any other class. I'm in construction management.

That’s Econ not accounting. Economics is useless outside of academia. They brain wash students with Keynesian theory and don’t bother exposing the flaws or other theories such as Austrian or MMT.

Luckily, humans are not limited to one subset of knowledge.
Money management is just as important as being able to understand the history of human development.
