I've got three. Two boys and the youngest is a girl. All about 2 1/2 year apart. I feel like that's pretty ideal ratio and distance apart.

I have 4.5. My wife got pregnant after the Bama game. In June/July I’ll have 5 ranging from 20 to newborn. When my first daughter was born 15 years ago, she reshaped my life. When she turned 13, she redefined my life. One day she’s your best buddy, the next she’s the talking in tongues. Im enjoying my 6 yo girl now knowing one day she, too, will become possessed. I’m happy with a boy or a girl this time, but I’m not going to lie, I haven’t fingers crossed for another boy.

Once you get past 2 you have to switch it up to zone defense, before that man-to-man works fine. We had 3 boys, still had drama, just different drama than girls.

I have three

All boys.

It's an adventure.

I would have loved a girl buy seeing my teenage son's IG and tic tok I'm kind of glad I don't have one.

I kinda regret only having one child. Wish our son could have a sibling in the world when his mother and I pass.

Man honestly, our boy turned 23 today, lost TOPS, kind of adrift on what his path is in life.....

This is after I explained to him how I went off to college and F'd up and damn near ended up having to work very hard to correct past mistakes.

But he is super easy going, chill, etc.

My girls are all really high achievers but between them and thier mother.....things can get emotional and dramatic in a hurry, my gray hair & propensity to drink alcohol is pretty high. Plus they cost a shite-ton more than boys. My oldest daughter's game-day Danceline uniform cost $900 in F'ing high school....

TL:DR They both have their positives and negatives, girls cost way more than boys.

Got 4 and that’s just right will never find a better use of your time than playing with your kids. Also it is all for the grandkids that’s the long term payoff all the fun of having tiny humans around without all the negativities.

I thought the third was easier. By that time you've seen it all. My third would throw himself on the floor to pitch a fit and we'd laugh and step over him.

I once heard a farmer guy tell me …"If you have 3, you should go ahead and have 8. There is no difference".

We have three and I agreed. The third child was a wheels off situation. one and two were manageable. When the kids outnumbered the parents if was rough.

All three are adults now but I still remember the pain.

Say no to 3!

Depends on the parents and the existing kids.

If our 3rd would have been our 1st, she very likely would have been an only child.

Maybe her younger sister would have slipped through since that’s what happened anyway

3 here as well. The third was unplanned. Well actually they all were. Always wanted kids but never really tried. Just happened. Girl and two boys. Girl is the oldest and that is perfect for us. In middle school now and she does a ton to help out with her little bro’s. As parents we are outnumbered but now the boys outnumber the girls in the house.
