Interesting conversation by the women in my office (‘stay-at-home girlfriend’ trend)

“They were talking about the ‘stay-at-home girlfriend’ trend, which I hadn’t really heard of before.
What I found funny was that, in the same conversation, they said not to let a man take care of you unless there’s a ring on it — so if things go wrong, at least you’re protected — while also saying a woman should always keep a job in case he cheats.”
Is this how all women think? I know the women in my office are raging liberals so not sure if this is the norm.

Most don’t really think. They feel.

Most people in this country really don't know how good we have it! These old bitties are complaining about men while working in a temp controlled room, sitting on their arse and probably obese. They act like they can't equal rights but still want to be taken care of. SMFH

It's all group thinking. There are few independent thoughts.
When a decision arises, they call 10 friends to get opinions.
Those opinions are basically a vote.

Obviously not. These sound like fairly low class women.

I have a stay at home gf and it's worked for us for a year and a half. She cooks or selects a restaurant, leads the maids in their duties, stays within her budget, and never says no.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

I tried this but my wife hated the idea of me and her working while my GF stayed at home.

This is true. Mine goes to the gym and attends her bestie's yoga and pilates classes.
She also likes to shop, lay out at the pool, go to a ladies' book club (and a black ladies' book club at that, you wouldn't believe the crap I see her reading on her Kindle), and goes through the motions of sending out job apps, bless her heart. She's a professional whose job has gone away.
