but many companies will cover trampolines as long as they are in a fenced area.

I saw our neighbors trampoline come into the street during Ida. I hurried up and broke it down. People who left trampolines not tied down or broken down suck.

Both, though probably mostly due to injuries. A kid falls the right way from one at a birthday party and breaks multiple bones. Next thing you know the parents want to sue for $100,000 and will very likely get that or more without ever seeing a courtroom.
I'm legit worried they'll make pools uninsurable. Then I guess we just leave the giant concrete pit out back empty?

How do they even know you have one?

These dogs are sweet. Are they supposed to be aggressive?
Rare in Louisiana; they'd destroy your house by shedding constantly in this heat.

Progressive came to my house and told me to take ours down (trampoline).... this was a few years ago

As of April 1, no more trampolines allowed in Louisiana.
I don't think the insurance companies can ban trampolines from the entire state of Louisiana. I think your coworker might be mistaken

Why would they drop the entire policy instead of just writing that nothing arising from the trampoline will be covered?

I would pay my agent under the table to tell me this.
That trampoline makes me so gdamn mad when im moving it around every few days in the summer so it doesn't nuke my grass

They did have it tied down with those screw in ties, but this was straight line winds and it had no chance. My security cameras caught it all. I had one broken window on my garage, but it managed to not break any windows on my house.

frick a trampoline. Your kids won't use it much and you have to move the thing all over the yard to keep the grass healthy and mow. I made that mistake once.
Had one in my yards for around 20 years. Kids loved it.

These little frickers are total dickbags.
Years ago I had a neighbor who's daughter got attacked by a bf's Chow.
28 stitches to her face and bf had to break dogs ribs (with bat) to get him off.
