And this is after changing the formula so inflation doesn't look so catastrophically bad.

I'm not saying don't worry about inflation, because it is a big issue, but a lot of the things on that list can be attributed to supply line disruptions and supply/demand. The used car market is responsible for nearly 1/3 of the increase, and that is a direct result of the chip shortage.

Have you priced appliances lately? I was about to pull the trigger on new kitchen appliances....of the four items I chose, they had all increased 16-33% within the LAST MONTH. Eat my shorts!
