BREAKING NEWS: words in the English language have multiple related meanings

So, you are admitting that you were too stupid to understand the meaning of the word "cite" and any of it's derivations?

Wait, do you need me to define "derivation"?

I'm not reading the whole 40 pages, but what you quoted doesn't even reference occupancy restrictions.

I can attest. Just paid $1200 to rent a Buick Enclave for a week in Bozeman MT. Tahoe/Yukon would have been $4,000....

This problem wasn't created by Biden, it was just made worse. Trump, Bush, Clinton, and even the beloved Reagan are all responsible for the out-of-control federal spending and its inflationary impact. The one area of agreement that Rs and Ds share is spending money we don't have on shite we don't need.

In May, employment in leisure and hospitality increased by 292,000, as pandemic-related
restrictions continued to ease in some parts of the country. Nearly two-thirds of the
increase was in food services and drinking places (+186,000). Employment also rose in
amusements, gambling, and recreation (+58,000) and in accommodation (+35,000). Employment
in leisure and hospitality is down by 2.5 million, or 15.0 percent
, from its level in
February 2020.

Let's try again short bus. If employment is down by 15% in leisure and hospitality...what does that mean?

Correct Roger, I didn't have the entire formal definition of "Cite" as defined by the Meriem-Webster dictionary written to my memory

That labor is down by 15%, not that hotels aren't offering all of their rooms

Is New Orleans still a tourist destination?

As much hate as New Orleans gets, its still an international city in the sense it attracts people from all around the world. New Orleans is unique.

If only some real leadership could get elected and at least do a half decent job it would help New Orleans be what it has the potential to be.

So, there is a staffing shortage and the hotels are at full occupancy, and all available rooms are being booked? Is that your contention?

Because that's not what the economic indicators are telling you.

Also, some industry jargon, but should be easy for someone like you to understand.

occupancy controls in hotel rooms are estimated to save between 12 and 24% in heating and cooling energy, based on a 5-degree setback when the room is vacant. The same concept applies to lighting, as well.

So if you're facing a labor shortage, and thus unavailable to service all rooms, one way to reduce overhead costs is to cutback on occupancy, so those rooms can save on things like heating/ac/lighting. Ergo, if you reduce the # of rooms operating, and are "near occupancy" on those rooms, eventually, when trends pick up, those rooms can then be let and you can expand occupancy.

Absolutely. You're not operating full capacity at 15% staff reduction. You're blocking off space.

No shite. Biden dumped trillions of fake money into the economy. This is what happens.

And that 15% is compared to February of 2020, a non busy month in terms of travel, vs. May of 2021, the beginning of travel season.

Based on the data, yes, that seems to be the case.

Are they not? Again, the article states 92% occupancy rate, it didn't qualify that not all rooms were avaliable so why would I assume otherwise?

This is about changing the thermostat when the room is not occupied. Are you retarded?

Is this happening? Again, link?
