In my experience, I have to go with Shreveport. I haven't been there in years, but the few times I have been there.. The best word I can come up with to describe it is gloomy.
And this isn't even factoring the crime aspect of it.

These stats are misleading because they are taken from within the city limits. Most of the residential areas are outside of it. So a handful of Main street murders drive the numbers. You have to look at the whole Parish it get a decent idea of the crime.

Bogalusa per capita, all other cities that have that level of crime usually have something endearing about them. Not the BOG.
