Two different disciplines. Seagal was Akio which was mostly using your upper body

Used to do tournaments back in the day. Martial artist back then had a reputation of partying and doing pranks. Some of them competed against chuck. At one tourny, someone switched his toothpaste with preparation h. Those inshin ryu guys were a blast to hang out with.

But to answer the op question, chuck kicks his arse without a doubt. Aikido is pretty to watch but nobody is giving you their arm to flip you.

If there is ever a fight between a man with a beard and a man with a pony tail, I'll take the man with the beard (so long as that man does not also have a pony tail or even worse, a man bun)
