I, too, am extremely depressed by the prospect of losing yet more time to pandemics and lockdowns. Life is precious. And short. The best years are being winnowed by some inertia of fear and government that seems beyond anyone's control. Experiences are being irretrievably lost. Careers are suffering. Businesses are withering. Health is eroding. Families are strained. Joy is waning. Life is stagnating. And for what? It does not appear that even the most draconian measures will stop the inevitable spread of a contagion.

The death rate is virtually 0 for the labor force and they used covid as an excuse to subvert election laws. Add onto that half of Congress is leveraging it for state bailouts. Ya it's shocking somebody would question that.

Unfortunately we didn't have a president in office who knew how to handle something like this. There was reality then there was his reality.
If Texas was a country, it would be ranked 11th in covid cases by country. Blame the man who waited a month to even address the situation then when he did, he tells everyone it will be over in April. With a vaccine coming soon I think by the summer, at the latest we will back to normal.
There are two main issues with Covid. The ease in which it spreads and the unknown and what it can evolve into.
Trump turned something as simple as wearing a mask into a political issue. Then it turned into an issue in which if you were a true Trump supporter you didn't care, it was a hoax or that the government is trying to control you. If you are pro-Biden then you wanted to see people wearing mask all the time no matter where they were.
People will disagree because I said something bad about their frickboy, but if you are going to complain about it, you have to be realistic and realize this was mismanaged from the jump. There was guidelines and resources that was in place for a pandemic, in which GWB created and established within HLS.. And yall hero got rid of it in 2017.
Blame it on Trump.
