I mentioned that the constitution doesn’t matter to elected officials, because they will amend it as necessary.
No, you straight up said people who believe in the constitution are dumb. No one can "amend the constitution as necessary" except the states.

Still waiting for you to quote me. I’m sure you’ll hit the quote button and write in whatever you choose. But like I said, context isn’t your friend.

Your post history and comments on here would suggest that you like the government, perhaps because of the financial assistance it is providing you.

Again, I did. Pages and pages ago. If this message board had a decently usable search function, I would again.

You are a music teacher. The only reason you have a job is because the government supplements it. And you have the gall to talk about financial assistance.

You are blind if you think constitutional authority matters. The constitution has been amended several times. The Patriot Act was a controversial movement that left many citizens feeling violated. Why in the hell do you think something new cannot be pushed through Congress in these ‘unprecedented’ times?

Your work is done for you. Here is my quote about the constitution.

You are a music teacher. The only reason you have a job is because the government supplements it.

I mean, that’s why any teacher has a job. Your point...? You think this is equivalent to welfare or something?

Drove through Houston yesterday and we ended up going to a Landry's for lunch. 1:00 on a Sunday and in a dining room that must be able to seat about 200, we were 2 of 4 people dining. They have to be losing tons of money to be open right now. It seems like many businesses may have committed themselves to make it through the end of the year, but if things continue, 1000's of businesses like that are going to go down.

I was downtown on Saturday just driving around and it was a ghost town. 3:00 in the afternoon and hardly a soul around. I haven’t lived here long so I can’t really compare it to much but I was in disbelief at just how dead it was. I did see some Asians by the Toyota Center though and also a large homeless encampment.
