You’ve got to be trolling at this point. Both myself and Scruffy have provided you with data that shows men’s razor sales make up the lions share of the market.

I had less of a problem with the commercial than most seem to. I am behind their idea, just not so much the execution. I think it's great to teach kids, especially boys, to intervene when someone is being mistreated. But you can do that without trying to shite all over traditionally "masculine" principles though. That's where I think they missed the mark.
But all in all, the message isn't that big of a deal, and is something I'd think most people should agree with.

Why? Your graph looked like a 5 year old made it.
Scruffy had more pertinent data over a more recent time period without simple errors like not knowing what year the data represented. I, accordingly, asked if anything included dollars since women's razors are more expensive.

Scruffy’s contention is that women use the same razor for a longer period of time, which accounts for the massive disparity and is also the reason behind the increased pricing for female razors.

I'm fine with the idea of raising courageous and upstanding sons, and in teaching boys they're not pussies for asking for help, etc.
My issue is that it comes on the heels of fictional claims that there is some epidemic of toxic masculinity in the world. Gillette is being motivated by a false premise and the people doing the motivating don't care about abuse or harassment or the fate of American boys - they care about diminishing male power and the things it represents (capitalism, social norms, etc.).
I use Gillette FWIW and I'm not about to throw all my blades away quite yet

All of this is right and fine, but spending half the commercial setting the stage with how bad the average man has become is going to catch some flak, and rightfully so.
I'd they would have showed news stories about Matt Lauer, Weinstein, etc, and then said Gillette men are better or something, that would have resonated better.
Instead they lined up 30 average looking guys grilling hamburgers and insinuated only one of them is man enough to break up a fight between two kids? That's an ignorant message for men, and I'm not sure how that would attract the average woman either.

While, yes, it is great info, it doesn't paint a true picture. I'd assume a that 99% of lady razors are used by women, I do not assume that with the men's razors.

I don't shave. My wife buys her own. I have a beard trimmer and have my barber straight razor my neck and clean the beard up.
