Go back into my post history. You'll see that my family and I fully support Trump and the wall. No anchor babies or illegal status inside my house.

Well, and I’m a bit surprised I’m having to point this out to you and you couldn’t figure it out for yourself, at least in that commercial, it’s men.
Is it though?
Well, here’s a graph showing the top selling razors in the US in 2017. Notice how many of these are men’s razors compared to women’s razors.
So even if they’re trying to market to women, that commercial was the most stupid way possible to do it.

You just quoted 4chan in an attempt to make a serious point about something.
Is the point valid or not? That’s what they paint traditional men as. Rapists.
They have no nuance. If you don’t believe any story a woman tells at face value with no evidence, you are a rapist to them.
That’s not a world I want my sons to live in

I would almost guarantee they did. A company as big as Gillette doesn't just get to where they are off luck and prayers.
I would think so too. So I also assume the research backs up the fact that most men, who might not like the commercial, would not ditch their current razor and there are a significant number of men and women who may switch brands because of it to offset the number of people put off by it who would stop buying their brand.

So you don't have quantitative data and are just spewing claims of what you hope happens to Gillette after this ad?
Here. I’ll even post the data again.
Notice how Gillette’s top two selling razors are for men?

That's IRI data ending in September 2016. It even says at the bottom. That chart is all over the place too in terms of sorting. I'd also like to know more about the generic "private label."

I'd put good money that the later greatly outnumbers the former.
Scruffy actually just found the annual razor sales for 2018.
Here are the numbers of units sold (millions):
Gillette Mach 3 - 3.3
Gillette Fusion 5 - 2.9
Gillette Mach 3 Turbo - 1.6
Gillette Fusion Pro Shield - 1.6
That is a total of 9.4 million razors sold for males in 2018 from the Gillette brand.
Venus - 2.9
Venus Spa Breeze - 1.9
That is a total of 4.8 million razors sold for females of the Gillette brand in 2018.
That is a nearly 50% difference between the two gender brands.

Scruffy doesn’t see this resulting in a positive situation if they are pandering to women.

Its one thing to not care about a commercial\
Its another thing to continually bury ones head in the sand over issues and political movements that make zero sense in order to seem "cool" or "above it"

They really didn’t reach out to anyone with that ad.
They provided quite a bit of fodder for the Twitter high horses who say "if you have a problem with the Gillette ad you're part of the problem."

This was the claim I asked for data on:
You made a claim about SJW men vs nonSJW men that can't be proven.

There’s not enough of them to make up for all the non-SJW dudes who are dropping Gillette.

The very idea of toxic masculinity is offensive. If we're supposed to be a tolerant, inclusive society, you don't start a campaign against biological traits held by the vast majority of men. It's just that simple. Criticizing disrespectful and violent behavior is fine, but the implication that such behavior resides only in men, or exists only because of masculine traits is absurd.
Posted on 1/16/19 at 9:10 am to Darth_Vader
That implies only men use the mach3. I dated a girl that shaved her legs with a mach3.
Also, what share of the purchases are women who buy razors and replacement blades for their husbands while out shopping? 10%? 25%?

Is there anything on dollars since women's razors cost more?
