I am stressed like a MF. Working full time, but all I think about is catching this shite. It’s wearing on me.

If you arent a fat unhealthy slob or over 70 your chances of getting hospitalized for this is about 1%.

Chance of dying 0.1%

For every person with diabetes in the hospital, there are probably 10 people with diabetes who recover at home. Same for obesity or asthma or whatever. Obviously far greater for people who have few/no health issues.

You're hearing about the exceptions. Good chance you won't get it. If you do, very good chance you won't have significant issues. If you do, very good chance you'll make it regardless.

It is not mutating at as fast a rate as it might have! So not as many strains that will be resistant to vaccines or other effective medications.

If you want to be realistic. You should be more worried about your drive to work and getting into a fatal vehicle accident. While I haven't compared the numbers, I am still pretty sure you have a better chance of dying from a vehicle crash..

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

Change that meme boat. Its actually more like 99.5% since 50-75% are asymptomatic and never get tested

You have a job unlike 10 million other Americans. That seems pretty positive.

You can look at the fact that you have a job as positive news. Lots of people have lost theirs are will be losing their job..

But with that said, I will admit, I do have some concern. My mom is 73. And while I am 42 and despite my condition I am in pretty good health, because of my condition it does concern me a little. But I am taking proper precautions and then just lets the cards fall where they may. I can only control so much so I try not to worry about what I can't control.

You have to try to look at it that way as well or you will let it eat at you.

Tread lightly with positive news. Lots of people will take that for "not being serious enough about this virus"
