The good news is if we can get filtering masks like n95 or close for everyone and use general hygiene with a moderate level of social distancing this crap would vanish. You”d still have the occasional small but contained outbreaks. This combined with the treatments out there in the system now it’s over with. Why are we not pumping out masks like candy for everyone? I dunno

Eventually the media will hype this shite up so much it will become white noise sooner or later.

And people will go outside and say oh yeah, the sky isn’t falling!

You’re more likely to get struck as a pedestrian than dying from the Kung flu.

I saw a stat on the news that said elderly people without major underlying conditions have a 95% chance of recovery.

It already has, kinda. Me and the wife talked about it yesterday. Stopped watching the news, the press conferences, the announcements, etc. It's much better for the soul. Just follow social distancing orders and try to stay out of harm's way, and let everybody else freak out about statistics and cases and death rates, etc.

If he is posting on an SEC message board chances are he is clinically obese and has high cholesterol. America is obese and The South obeser.

You’re a natural born citizen (I’m assuming), of the best country in the god damn world.

The work you’re doing is keeping things moving forward. Your stress keeps you busy and focused, it’s a good thing. An idle mind can lead to stagnant time and depression.

You’re for the most part safe as even the dumbest dipshits of society are washing their hands and avoiding breathing down your neck while waiting in line. Be smart about it & don’t assume you’re invincible.

If you do catch it, your chances are pretty damn good of not dying. I say that knowing a absolutely nothing about your age or health. If you are older or in less than optimal health, know that we have some of the best medical professionals in the world that are in the shite with you taking care of business, despite what panic the mainstream media is spreading.

Neighbors are being neighborly, kids are playing outside again, and you have more opportunities than ever do make an impact on someone else. Seemingly dumb things like letting an old person cut you in line or calling some obscure relative will mean the world to them.

Least importantly, you have a bunch of message board assholes with offensive comments & good intentions to help ease the atmosphere.

Sorry about your friend, but this is an outlier case. The reason they looked into these drugs as a treatment is because they realized that people on the antimalarials were not getting ill in high spread areas. The fact that he was on the drugs long term should have protected him on some way. I think a lot of deaths are being severely misreported.

Good for you our TV has been off more in the last few weeks than in years before.

I feel better for it honestly all the way around.
