People that were staying home were going to stay home anyway people who were going out are still able to go out. Until people are dying in streets or 3 or 4 healthy people on block die people aren’t going to hold up at home.

A lot of business and employees have been scrambling this past week to drastically overhaul everything from childcare to inventory. The lucky ones are still employed and doing enough business to stay open.

Now states are going to completely kill the economy to the point it will never recover. Small businesses are the backbone of the middle class. Very few will survive.

Gotcha. My people are on the other side of Decatur from you. Generally the Lincoln area.

Illinois is more focused on making headlines than getting supplies to the hospitals.

The Trib also just sent a release that all Southwest flights are cancelled at Midway.

That is not the case, greatly reduced but not completely shuttered.

I don't doubt Illinois will get a lockdown, but reporting is getting..... sloppy.

Louisianians are a stubborn lot. This will still be the scene when JBE issues the "shelter in place":

Cant believe JBE let them beat him to it.

I'm no JBE fan, but I don't think he wants to do it...he's had more reason to do it than other Governors who have.

And to be clear it's really just a formality -- most of us are already doing a shelter in place already.

A couple of weeks shut in to finish this thing off is better than having "social distancing" going on for months.

This won’t finish it off plenty think this will slow it and social distancing will go on for months.

I just went by the car shop. They told me they were labeled as a “necessary business” and would continue to remain open.

Must really hurt to be labeled an “unnecessary business.”

People are going to be really tired of this by April. There is only so much people are willing to put up with.

I wish there was a greater focus to get supplies to the hospitals.
