There is a whole very nice section between Robert E. Lee and the lake

What is this "Robert E Lee" that you speak of?

but decided if we’re going to do it, it’s going to be Lake Vista

There are still a lot of older ranch homes in Lake Vista that are in disrepair and ripe for tear down or renovation. If I were 30-35 again, I'd buy one, live in it a while then tear it down and build.

Lakeview is the only place worth living in New Orleans.

Got a family member within a block.

Not a bad location, off street parking. Property value there has gone ballistic.

I doubt Westbank would be on the top of anyone’s list. Algiers is in Orleans Parrish and considered New Orleans.

Wouldn't you pick a secure condo building in the CBD with a rooftop swimming pool? Even though NOLA is finished for all practical purposes, you could have a nice 20 year run

I'd live Uptown in that hotel where "Pretty Baby" was filmed. I used to stay there for weeks at the time when I worked offshore back in the 70s and early 80s. It was a faded flower called "The Collums Hotel" back then, and I loved it. Cost me $15 a night, but that was before Brooke Shields "lived" there. If I had money to throw away I'd come stay there for a couple of weeks just for old times' sake. Does anyone know what the deal is with this hotel right now? Is it still a hotel, or is it now condos? This is where I hung out back in the day, and I still love it.
