Washington DC Capital. The barbed wire fence will protect me.

It would be hard carrying out a guerilla campaign in an environment where just surviving is a challenge. You'd be living outdoors most of the time, eating what you could catch or find. You'd want to be some place at least temperate, or better yet an urban guerilla where you could blend in and drop in and out of operations while living an otherwise ordinary life.

Chicago and New Orleans. That group has the most experience.

They didn’t call him the Swamp Fox for nothin.

In my hometown.
I wouldn't be a very good guerilla if I didn't know the terrain, resources, locals, customs, etc.

Somewhere close to the river where I lost my guns. May have to go diving.

Wherever Red Dawn was set. The original, not the limp dick remake.

Maurepas swamp

I’d say swamp as well, but with no hyacinth control we’d get bogged down at some point. Northern basin might be doable.

mini manual for the urban guerilla
This was written in the sixties by a revolutionary group trying to overthrow their government. Once you get past the Marxist rhetoric it tells you what you need to know. Required reading for insurgents and counter insurgents alike

Ouchita mountains in central Arkansas.
Only because i know the area well and would choose a mountainous region.

High up in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness
I found a nice cozy cave up there hunting one time, make that base camp.
Rain hellfire from above with my .308 on any patrols unfortunate enough to be walking below, while I’m tucked away in the rocks

I’d just live peacefully in Ferriday. They wouldn’t bother coming there.

Compton , Inglewood and Los Angelos. IT would be a death trap for any ground army.

Louisiana swamps wouldn't be a bad place either.
Too hard to move in the muck and easy for helicopter to spot you
Mountains are best

New Orleans and let the locals gratta ta ta

How they’ve invading?
Let’s say it’s Mexico landing on the gulf coast and land invasion thru Texas. They would need New Orleans/south la for the ports and river
Just hanging out in the swamps, Blowing up bridges, and picking off people would actually be a major pain in the arse.
I wouldn’t want to be near a major heavily armed metro. An invading army would have to deal with a heavily armed population, would get messy
