If you folded a piece of paper 42 times, the thickness would reach to the moon

This is assuming the earth is round; which it's not.

This begs the question: "How many folds to reach Uranus?'

To make this technically correct, you have to say folded in half. Otherwise you leave the loophole where you could just partially fold a piece of paper in sections to reach 42 folds

Like the guy a couple of posts above me just did

The math checks out. It'd actually go well past the moon. But who in the hell can fold a single sheet of paper 42 times? It starts getting really tough to do after the 7th fold.

Pleat: a double or multiple fold in a garment or other item made of cloth, held by stitching the top or side.
