you have no idea what saltwater marsh gnats are do you? im not talking about mosquitoes, mosquitoes would be heaven compared to dealing with saltwater marsh gnats.
you can spray off until its dripping off of you and it wont make any difference, they will still eat you alive, and are so small you can barely see them, they get so bad you want to jump in the water just to get asway from them
go here to read about them LINK

Mosquito, and it's not even a close fight. There's no one creature on this entire planet deserving of an extinction event more than the mosquito.

You’re very wrong on that. Tons of animals eat mosquitos as a primary food source.

I hardly see fire ants since the raspberry crazy ant entered the sw LA ecosystem.

Years ago I was in a junkyard looking for some parts for my Volkswagon. A freakin wasps comes out of no where and stings/hits me on my forehead. It felt like someone punched me. So here is how I feel about wasps...

The others avoid me but wasps just keep coming.
My advice is to stop dicking with wasps. Rarely does a wasp actually want to sting you. Most of them try to avoid having to sting anything.
It has been really dry in my area so far this Summer. I always keep a few birdbaths filled around my place. They are attracting wasps of all types right now because it is a reliable water source. There are also a bunch of honey bees around it. When I fill the baths a couple times a day, I inevitably spray wasps and bees. They've never taken offense, they just appreciate the water.
A bit of advice, when it is really dry start spraying down the plants and flowers around your house. Just hit them with the sprinkler setting on your sprayer. Everything around your joint will appreciate it.

I can deal with mosquitos and we don't have wasps.
You saying you have roaches? I get that you don't have wasps, and even though you live in a fairly remote place, mosquitos aren't bad because of serious winters. I would think up in Alaska, roaches aren't bad either.
I'm kind of tied for wasp and mosquito at the moment. While mosquitos are terrible in south Louisiana, they aren't bad on my property at all, and wasps are. In general though, you can easily remove/kill a wasp or nest, and if mosquitos are bad in an area, there's no way to kill them off easily. So I guess I lean more towards mosquitos.

Mosquitoes...and it is not even close.

Its mosquito's and it is not even close.
Wasps leave you alone if you don't frick with them and they are pollinators. I use to hate them until we started growing vegetables, I didn't know those frickers ate garden pests, they basically stay hunting on my green beans and they don't even bother you when picking. It is kind of cool to watch one trying to fly away with a green worm or something.

Seeing a single roach in your house is no big deal, but if you get an infestation with a lot of smaller ones, you’d see why this is a good answer.
My answer is mosquitos cause they attack me on the regular and i cant see them as well as the other 2.

Can we pretend spiders are insects?

After getting stung today, the wasp can go away forever!

The coolest parasitic wasps are the ones you will likely never see. Some species are the size of a fleck of black pepper. They lay their eggs in the eggs or bodies of host insects, most of which are detrimental garden pests. What happens next is a real "Damn nature, you scary" moment. As the eggs will hatch and wasp larvae will eat their way out of the host insect.
I like watching the larger parasitic thread-waisted wasps. They'll catch worms and grasshoppers. The grass-carrying wasp loves grasshoppers. They're sting paralyzes them and they carry them to their nests where they are sealed in and eventually eaten alive by the wasp larvae.
