A few ground rules:

Has to be local.

Has to be easily funded via grant and private donations.

Has to be sustainable and easily scaled to other communities.

I would like to build treehouses for kids.

Hear me out.

Treehouses are great for kids -- especially boys. It's their place but safe. They climb that rope ladder and the world changes for them. It's their place.

So, maybe get 5-10 guys that are a bit listless or dealing with some shite, Home Depot donates $1500 of lumber and equipment rentals, parents sign a waiver saying "We understand these men are building a structure 15-20 feet off the ground and we are responsible if our kid falls."

The marketing for Home Depot or Lowes would be huge. Every Saturday VA, AA, USAA, VFW, who cares...we just go build a treehouse...or a playhouse.

I think it'd be great for guys that maybe lost their purpose or direction to just go...build something. Hang out. USE POWER TOOLS! And then...you see a kid smile at the end of the day.

It's small, but I think it would have a massive impact. And if it doesn't? Who cares? You spent a Saturday building a tree house and making a kid happy and some broken guys got to build something.

Golf for retired millionaires.

Millionaires need money too.
Some have saved their entire life, but struggle to spend their money on themselves. It is time to help them, and grow the game.

I'll play..
As someone who treats cancer patients, I'd like to start a charity to install free bidets into people's homes that have to get radiation in the pelvis area (rectal ca, anal ca, gyn tumors, etc). We cause awfully bad diarrhea with the radiation and the subsequent burning of the taint region leave a patient with a lot of pain and discomfort "down there". I can't imagine the pain of even the softest Charmin rubbing against that raw skin.
Any rich donors want to help me out???

I'd start one bussing fat, smelly lesbians to rallies around the state. I'd rake in huge donations and pay myself $750,000/yr to work 3 days a week.

Animal sanctuary, and adopt only the unavoidable ones. Senior dogs, health issues, etc. Live our best remaining years together.

I've heard those can be lucrative but funding might drying up. Not sure.

I'd like to start a foundation to raise enough money to buy a fleet of buses to take these college athletes (men and women ) to where every they all want to go . They all seem to want to go somewhere, just would love to finally find out where.

That’s a cool idea.

I’d start an animal rescue/sanctuary if I had land and means and reliable supporters. But being in the rescue world now and seeing what they go through, it’s tough. Seems only the big name scammers make out well. The good ones are begging.

That is a very small segment of the population. People that have a child, have a tree, and don’t care about the long term health of either. Who would trust the structural integrity of random “listless” guys building something one afternoon?
