Traveled a lot, including 2 weeks in NZ with my oldest son and his wife. When we got back, I drew a 200-mile circle around SE Louisiana and swore to never leave it again.

Aside from that, Idaho was my favorite place to visit.

It’s funny you say this. I have had the same sentiment after living in Minnesota. The word that always comes to my mind is “sterile”.

I've been before but it's been 20 years or so.

It's close to perfect for me - mountains, hiking, fishing, rafting, low crime and pretty close to my ideal climate.

I told my wife it’s like living with a stripper then marrying a kindergarten teacher. You know that sweet teacher is better for you but she can’t do some of the things the stripper could.
