This show. I had this poster on my walls during the grunge days.

Wouldn’t have minded seeing coked out Clapton shredding in Philly though

Stevie Ray Vaughn, "Live at the Macombo."
You’re listening to Hot Ticket, and J.J. Cale, Live at the El Macombo…in Toronto.
That would have been a kick arse show.

No regrets. I have seen so many of the great ones.
People mention The Beatles in City Park Stadium in 1964. This would be my answer but I was only six years old.

One guy I would like to have seen live in his hayday would have been Elvis because I remember him playing constantly at my house because my mom loved him
My mother saw him at the Louisiana Hayride when she was a teenager. She thought he was trashy.

I would have loved to see Bob Dylan in the 70's. I did see him in N.O. in the 90's(I think) and was disappointed. The music was very clean but his voice was nearly unintelligible.
He ran through his older material so obvious of being tired of playing it. I wanted to see Dylan playing his early music with the original sound.
I had tickets to Zeppelin in '77 in B.R. The show cancelled and was rescheduled on a date on which I was not in town. I went to a good number of concerts but I really miss not seeing Zeppelin.

Metallica. No particular date. Its just 4/16/23 and i havent seen em.
I saw them in 1992 in the dome when they were touring with Guns n Roses. Faith No More opened.
Metallica was badass! I would go see them again in a second. They're awesome live.
GnR sounded great (I mean the band) Axl Rose sounds horrible in person and he got mad and started hollering when people started to sit down (everyone stood the entire time Metallica was performing).
Faith No More was pretty good but the only song I knew was Epic.
To this day, I still talk about that performance from Metallica. It was so great. I still have the ticket from the concert.

Monsters of rock in Moscow. 1991. AC/DC Metallica and Pantera. Something like 1.6 million people were there.

A couple of posters have mentioned Elvis in his comeback concert. I would love to have been in the audience when he and his buds were sitting “in the round” just jammin.
Speaking of Springsteen, my favorite concert that I attended was his Ne Orleans summer of 1975 show at the Municipal Auditorium. Born to Run was hot and was pretty much the play list. Hot as hell. No a/c. Fans on-stage provided a little air circulation for the band until one shorted out emitting spark.
Had tickets on the floor near the back. Stood on the wooden folding chair. I think the ticket was $5. Best show ever!

Well considering my first thought before I opened the page was London Live Aid, I’ll go with that

Had to work, all my friends went, and they told me later that Van Halen stole the show with Dance the Night Away.

11/17/97 would probably be my first non-Dead choice …either that or 5/7/94 (the Bomb Factory).
I was at both. While the bomb factory was interesting I’ll bet there were about 500-750 people in attendance. Felt like a small bar show in some ways.
11/17/97 - the boys were on fire and taking no prisoners . They knew it. We knew it. the energy was off the charts. One of those top 5 shows of all time
