What would the education system in Louisiana look like in 10 years? 20 years? 30 years?
I'm not advocating it. I just wonder how it would change things if any.

People won’t do that until the public schools stop being so horrible.

The government of the state of Louisiana has proven it can’t run anything efficiently. What makes you think public school would be any different if more private school kids went there?

It would be better no doubt. Public schools that have good advanced/honors/AP classes seem fine, it segregates the smart kids from the riff raff. Having the private school kids would would mean more in those classes.
Edit: and I’ve been to both public and private schools and got a noticibly better education in the AP classes at a public school than I ever would have at the private one.

Let me ask because I don't know how it works in BROLA.
When a large new development goes up containing, say, 600 homes. Is a new elementary built within or close by the new construction?

And the public schools are horrible because people do that.

The folks who gripe about not enough funding would gripe even more because there would be even fewer dollars per student to waste?

Public couldn’t handle the extra kids

Yep.
30% of the kids from Jefferson parish go to private schools. Let that sink in.
They still claim they don't have enough funding for their public schools.

Went to private Christian school, 3 years at Tulane and then 4 at Columbia

No they’re horrible because of the massive percent of parents who don’t give a frick about their kids grades

my public school kid can beat the shite out of your private school kid

We'd have more kids being failed by their schools.

better question, what if 75% of public school kids moved in with those private school families - how would they turn out? It’s more about home life rather than school life. POS parents usually raise POS kids.

Unless they quit with the agenda I will never send my kids to public school.
