Serious question: don't you think that your wife probably knows that you feel this way?

Doubtful. She’s constantly planning shite and finding new ways to spend money.

I’m building my escape plan so either way I don’t care.

Downvote all you want. I know many feel the same way but won’t admit it.

We were at a get-to-gether for the LSU game last week at a friend's house who happens to be a doctor. There were probably 10 men there. The ladies were having trouble getting a propane heater lit outside so my wife called me over. One of the other ladies commented "it's so neat that REB BEER can fix things."

I just kind of assumed that all men were brought up working on stuff and learned from their dads and grandpas.

If I have gained any knowledge from my wife from living with her, it would be that a Law Degree doesn't make you smarter.

Could be worse, I flip/renovate a few houses a year and anytime anything any of my wife’s friends needs repairs my wife will volunteer me in a fricking heartbeat.

Then why don't they help their husbands? These women are even more useless.

Buddy’s girlfriend is always asking me to fix shite and then will make a huge deal of it IN FRONT OF HIM about how I can use tools and fix shite. Awkward. Thing is, he doesn’t care. Dude is a stud athlete and can lift a house but can’t use a screwdriver and doesn’t give two fricks. Which is weird to me.

They probably wouldn't complain as much if they weren't forced to babysitting other peoples' kids 9 months of the year.

Don’t feel sorry for anyone except maybe your own condescending arse. You only have one life to live and I plan on living it how I want. frick anything else.

You would be very surprised how many grown arse men don't know how to do the most basic repairs or use tools. I've had to teach several grown men how to use screw drivers or wrenches.

Whatever. I genuinely felt bad for you for being in an unhappy marriage, but now I guess go frick yourself and your failed life. Your wife is probably better off.

Failed life? I’m not from Alabama. Nice try, though.

You guys all missed the most important point.

quote:

Today, these ladies were discussing the best way to deal with a clogged sink, and the answers were laughable, and spoken with so much conviction.

The final consensus was that the secretary needed to call a plumber. For a fricking hair clog!

Then they started talking about how useless their husbands were. Some said they’d never trust their husband to fix a clogged sink because they’re such idiots, etc. Others talked about fix-it projects that their husbands had done and how bad they fricked up.

Whose f'king hair created the wooly-booger that clogged the sink? Tell her to wash her damn hair in the shower, and maybe see her Dr. to get some hormone replacement so it doesn't fall out so much.

A lot of men walk away (I did) because women are too busy finding fault in them while the men were too busy overlooking theirs.

Sometimes it’s better to walk away. I’ll never understand those who try to justify staying for whatever reason.

The whole bit you’ll be lonely reason above is also bullshite. You’re only going to be lonely if you have zero friends, hobbies, or lack any skill to get laid.
