You are probably correct. Most of us knew in college the education majors were fun to party with, but nothing more. Now that they are grown up they ended up marrying "men" who didn't know any better - cucks and soy boys.
Might be why there are so many illicit teacher/student romances as well.

A lotta people in a lotta shitty marriages. Those who aren’t always realize it when other people complain. A lot of deadbeat husbands and deadbeat wives. There’s a good reason why the divorce rate is so high. People need to put more effort into their marriages

Overhearing some shite like that was a big factor in the sudden end of my first marriage. I think she expected me to just laugh that sort of thing off. I didn't.
