People here wouldn’t believe it. They don’t even believe in global warming and it’s been like 100 degrees every day

while not quite the dust bowl...if the Gulf Stream collapses, we will see a lot of farmland become unusable in Europe soon...so that is similar.

“The worst hard time” by Timothy Egan about the dust bowl is one of the best and toughest reads I’ve ever done

I think about it 3 years later

HIGHLY recommend that book for anyone interested

It rained yesterday and dropped to 89 degrees. If we continue cooling at this rate it will be snowing in August. Ice age imminent. Checkmate.

With all this genetically altered seed, we would probably lose a major source of food in the USA (grain).
