Pretty sure it’s been stated as fact. Not theory.

I hear you. I was referring to the comments I’m reading on twitter and DM.

An absolute game changer. Wonder how many cold cases are sitting unsolved that can be solved using this.

They gonna get this MF for additional unsolved crimes. No way this was his first Go.

My cousin just recently found out he had a different dad, because of this stuff. He wasn't even trying to find this type of information out. His dad for the past 30 years had no idea either. It was quite interesting how it was discovered by a different cousin.

I have a feeling that couple murdered in Oregon by a knife was this guy.

May or may not know someone who was with the fbi and said to NEVER do those test.

That has always been common sense to me. I just don't like the possibility that one day I'm looking to gain bragging rights on the OT because I'm kin to some Scottish prince or warrior or some shite, and six months later I'm getting popped for being a serial killer because I had to take a milkshake shite around the corner from TulaneLSU's burial grounds.*
*Allegedly on all counts for myself and others in this comment

Where did they get his DNA? Was he already in the system?
Same way they got DNA of all the cold case killers they've caught in recent years. They follow the suspect around, wait for him to throw his trash out, then go get DNA off it. Don't need a warrant since he has discarded it.

He Mummifies them and dresses them in holiday outfits around the house. You should be good.

Was that the couple where the man died but the woman survived? I don't think I've read any descriptions she might have been able to give about the attacker.
When was it and was the alleged attacker in college/working full time/ or on break in Pennsylvania then?

How many uncaught cheating women are now in a state of continuous quiet panic because of this Ancestry crap? Has to be millions.

I know one that should be very wary. It’s been a running joke amongst my friends that one of my friends fathered a child with his ex, the kid looks just like him…but she’s married ha

It’s my understanding that you don’t even need to take one of these tests yourself. Apparently the people using these DNA databases to solve crimes are able to find suspects based on dna profiles submitted by distant cousins.

Ugh, what a shitty convo to have right? Geez

It was his first. He doesn’t have a serial killer look. He has a normal look. He’s any guy you’d pass in the grocery store. You think he looks like a psycho because you know what he did. He followed the girls on social media. Rookie move. Shows he didn’t have the thought that it probably wasn’t a good thing to do that. Was he rejected? Who knows. Did he stalk them? Who knows. This wasn’t a professional job. He’s a one and done.

Yeah…that doesn’t mean shite. If I were to show you a photograph of Ted Bundy, smiling broadly beside his girlfriend and you had no idea who he was, you’d never guess in a million years that he killed 20+ young women over the span of a decade.

It's so awkward. He never looked like his dad, but no one ever thought anything about it. He also acts nothing like his dad, but no one ever assumed his wife (ex for a while now) had cheated on him. I feel like the mom had to know this entire time which seems so messed up.
