I haven't been able to see any TV coverage of this thing, so I have a question: Are the Mets pronouncing the name EE-an or EYE-an?

if you're new to using a generator, remember to shut off your main breaker so you're not feeding power back down the lines that go down.

You could save the life of a lineman who's working to get power back afterward.

Hey people should learn conversions and formulas. What happens when a solar flare knocks out the grid and fries all the computers? No google to do it for you. It’ll be back to the Stone Age if people don’t retain the knowledge of doing scientific formulas and mathematical calculations manually

Slagathor will be my gatherer so I don't need to convert shite.

The term knot dates from the 17th century, when sailors measured the speed of their ship using a device called a “common log.” The common log was a rope with knots at regular intervals, attached to a piece of wood shaped like a slice of pie.

This is just crazy enough to be believable.

You should never backfeed into your system. If those are your electrical skills, save your own life and buy some electrical cords.

For those driving away, I-4 is fooked. Hwy 60 is pretty clear until aboot 15 miles before Yeehaw Junction. Then it comes to a halt.

Ok, that got a chuckle from me. Is that the metric direction?

I am new to generator use and I have one. We were just planning on running a heavy duty extension cord to my fridge if needed.

Are you talking about hooking it to the house?

TIA

We just left Tampa yesterday after being down for the Packer game, my flight was at 4:30. We were staying on Clearwater Beach half a mile north of Frenchy's.

Brother lives in Ft Myers and escaped to Ft Lauderdale with the family. Dad has his winter home in Cape Coral on a canal off the Caloosahatchee River. He doesn't have homeowners on his place. May be the time that finally catches up with him, because it's starting to look like it's turning right for them.

Looks like this is going to cut East more to strengthen up a bit just to plop down in my yard as a TS instead of a TD.

Good time to aerate your yard and overseed.
