Nope, not looking forward to this experience at all.

I would have definitely left, but I literally can't because of my job at the hospital. Just hoping for the best.

They won’t let our hurricane hunters fly over, but they will let NOAA civilian aircraft fly over. It’s bullshite.

You'd be better off just staying at the hospital if that's an option

Oh, interesting. I did not know that.

I guess the whole government thing weirds them out, not that NOAAA civilian aircraft couldn't accomplish the same things if we wanted.

looks like the dry air that was supposed to wrap around the SE quadrant is going to happen over the keys over to miami and up the coast instead of right through the bay/bradenton to lakeland like it showed previously. this might be brutal for tampa.

So literally the only section of the country that doesn't get to enjoy this cool front and they get a big F YOU, here's a hurricane.

I love how they are not showing what a parking lot I-275, I-75, and I-4 it is on TV right now. They are bringing up feeds from Gainesville showing it wide open.

I make the commute to near the airport everyday. If there is one bad accident it will shut down the entire highway system and you will be stuck for god knows how long. Sometimes up to 2-3 hours.

That and accounting that inevitably some dumbasses did not fill up their tanks and will run out of gas. Once you get past Wesley Chapel, the exits are few and far between.

Yeah you should probably be gone. How long ago were these apartments built? You aren't going to be any help to anybody. Very likely won't be able to get to the people that you are saying will need help until Saturday or Sunday

At least y’all have 3&4 lanes and a trucking lane. Here we have one lane over the largest river in North America in the capital of the state. Lol

I'm always amazed at how stupid people are when it comes to hurricanes. They think it's brave to stay and risk dying. So what, then they can tell their hurricane war stories to randoms? Get the hell out if you can, especially if you have kids. Don't put them through unnecessary shite.

No one should be staying for a hurricane like this one. It's idiotic. People who stay have no real conception of what's to come.
