We’ll probably see a nudge to the west on the next track update since the current guidance is on the eastern edge of the recent models.

If you think carbon emissions are having such a profound effect, move to Chyna and become an advocate for them cutting theirs. Please.

For me it's all about the climate, not the weather, and how carbon emissions influence the paths and intensity of these storms.

After using the bathroom in the airport this morning, I am confident that the men’s restroom is the number one contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Probably more so than the flights.

Hoping this thing stays far away from SELA. But at the same time hoping and praying all our friends in Florida stay safe from this thing.

That’s what I feared when we woke up today.

I’m in NE Fl, what kind of action can I expect? Tropical storm conditions?

I’m headed to the coast to park on the beach in an F250 and roll coal with the exhaust pointed east to ensure the hurricane avoid Louisiana

As a SELA baw who's been through some shite storms, I hope it weakens and hits the big bend. That's got to be the best case scenario based on current guidance

Gustav baw or Ida baw? That is the question.

we as mere mortals have little or no control over that.
Now apply that philosophy to the entire discussion of man’s role in climate change.

Both, but I owned a house for Ida. Been playing homeowners insurance whack-a-mole ever since.

I have two small Palms ( 10-12 feet) in my front yard along with one tall Queen palm. I have 3 tall Queen Palms in my back yard around my pool cage.... There is a huge cedar on the lake behind my house.
Palms are pretty resilient to the 'canes. I had one snap in half, 8' up, for Jeanne. Its' replacement rode out Irma with no damage, and Irma was a pig. Are you sure your cedar is not a cypress?
I am gearing up to stand strong for this. We should have more pertinent info daily. We've got this.

Let's rock.
