No, of course not. Asians is the proper term because all people from Asia are the same. Shame on me for distinguishing the people of the Orient (antonym of Occident) from the rest.

Tbh Asian being used as a race label is even more stupid. Everyone from Indians to Japanese to Malaysians to a bunch of other countries are all classified as the same “race”.

Being smarter is a false stereotype. Living in the bay area I've realized majority were some of the dumbest people I have ever meant. They get this stereotype off of a select few who are pushed throughout childhood to get to the universities where they display higher grades than the rest.
