Simple solution: No ride alongs. Either you're playing, or you're staying home. If women want to play, great. I see no reason to allow anyone, regardless of gender, to just tag along during a function they aren't actually engaging in.

Sounds less than ideal. If they are cool and just want to drink and drive the cart, that may not ruin the day. Would much rather that than any of them wanting to play assuming they don't usually or haven't ever played a round. That would be true of guys too.
The biggest issue is "ride along" people generally have no etiquette on the course, and it might be awkward telling female coworkers to shut the frick up every other hole.
Not every course even allows ride along guests, by the way. Could make an assumption there and nip it in the bud.

why would an attorney try and organize a golf outing with at least 8 other attorneys in a firm? Wouldn't a firm that size have an assistant to do that shite for him?
8 attorneys in one firm would have double that number of paralegals, assistants, receptionist, HR, accounting,...
