They are rare but they do exist.

SAME.

Wife is a doctor and mother of two. Family is more important to her than work. Our two girls (now adults) turned out great; they had dad coaching them in sports and doing outdoor things with them; and then mom chaperoning at dance camp, shopping with them, and taking them to 'girly' movies and concerts.

I lucked out; we dated off and on for years, but got engaged when she was 23 (in med school) and I was 25 (had just got my master's). Got our jobs settled; bought a house. Then had our 1st child when she was 30 and our second when she was 33.

Like you said, rare-- but they do exist.

But maybe, just maybe, it got this one thing wrong. I did everything feminism told me to do: I worked my arse off, made a shitload of money, and became one of the youngest female directors in my field. I broke the “glass ceiling.” But now I’m just lying here, covered in broken glass

Code for “fat free”. I’ll take that version all day long. 10lbs over turns to 20 in no time and there’s no going back.

I am 41 now and no way in hell would you catch me dating a 20 something year old. There is just something about a woman being around my age, with the same experiences, and same life levels that is appealing to me.

I am not knocking people who date with that age gap, but to say all men are like that just isn't true.

Or you could be like my Ex wife...admit it but then triple down on the shitty behavior because the "atta girls" from her feminist friends on social media were more important than her kids.

When I was single I dated two admitted feminists. One openly stated she destroyed her marriage with her selfishness, then tried for over a year to reconcile with her ex husband. I then asked what changes she had made since. Her answer? Nothing. Still with the same friend group that encouraged her to destroy her family. I left that date as soon as dinner was over.

Glad she spent all that time getting well rounded and educated to figure out the obvious. We've been telling these women this for years. Some of them are too dumb to listen, and the problem is theyve convinced themselves they're smart and can't see the forest for the trees.

Enjoy your cats and being single.

Checking in. My girlfriend and future wife makes more than double what I make and will always make more than me.

I'm perfectly content and we are a team and I'm not looking to "beat" her and her success is mine and vice versa.

We support each other.

ETA: I'm not a poor. I make a high income myself.

That is a specific type of woman.

To the ‘other’ 90%…both suffer.

Blessed to be raised by stay-at-home Mom.
Blessed for my wife & I to provide stay-at-home Mom to our kids.

The ROI on that decision was relatively easy and very high. Wife made tremendous sacrifice (HS Valedictorian and top of college class).

Good on you / your wife for making success on both sides!
