I'm sure there's a 3rd world migrant who'd love to shack up with you and knock you up. good luck with that tho.

wonder what the stats are for stay-at-home wives

It's pretty high. Up there with nurses and military women.

Most modern stay at moms these days aren't really doing much once kids get to school age. In my expired, they're playing on their phones and spending their husband's money on coffee, Chik Fil A, and Swig.

But why would a woman without a job divorce her husband? Child support ends at 18 and alimony is very limited these days.

A lot of them get welfare (over 80% of welfare recipients are single mothers) or they get DEI jobs to supplement the money they get from child support, alimony, etc

If you look up "Kentucky divorce reform" you'll see a lot of women don't file as much if you make it joint custody. Basically to file no fault divorce there, it's automatic joint custody.Divorce is just way for women to get all the benefits without having to work hard.

Meanwhile, we found intelligent, capable, attractive women that shared our ideals and values, and we married them.

A win for everyone, that wanted to win.

This one is just mad because she rode the dating carousel too long while probably being completely obnoxious and unavailable for the guys she now wants to lock down so she wound up without any safe fall back guy to “settle down” with.

Most Redpill stuff is BS, but there's definitely some truth to the "dual mating strategy."

It’s statistical fact along with a bunch of “unpleasant” male realities.

Honestly there’s probably another phase where when a woman has children young and finishes needing that safe man to help provide and raise them they’re inclined to again seek the strong/hot/top 10% guys again as they approach or hit menopause.

Go watch some early 40s wealthy women at the pool at the country club and it’s glaringly obvious.

Not attacking women. Men have their own cycles and drives, but pretending these things don’t happen is silly and flies in the face of reality.

Men, even when they say they want someone they can ‘talk to on their level,’ are kind of kidding themselves—they look mostly for biological markers of fertility and high estrogen (waist-to-hip ratio, full lips, heart-shaped face), and as far as talking goes… they just want someone to listen.

I have never once said that I want someone I can talk to on my level. I don’t want a dumbbell, but I don’t need to have an Einstein either. Other than listening to my kids play, I prefer quiet.

Now, my wife is very smart, definitely more book smart than I am by a long margin. Probably could’ve gone to med school if she wanted to. But she didn’t want to be in school that long and wanted to start a family before she was 30. It was not a prerequisite for me that she be as smart as she is. What was a prerequisite for me was that she be attractive to me and be a good person. Both were and are still true.

Women initiate 70% of all divorces and 90% in the college educated group.

And they’ll say they do because men are the problem.

But….

Same sex male marriages have a lower divorce rate than traditional marriages

Same sex female - higher

I can appreciate the writer at least acknowledging that she has made a mistake. The problem is she still misses the mark about where she was wrong. This quote proves it:

quote:

Ten years go by. Surely, the men left in their forties are still single because they're looking for something real, something mature; a woman of substance. Wrong. They're still dating twenty-year-olds, just now with a hair transplant and an eye-rolling age gap.

The vast majority of single men in their 40s are not dating 20 somethings. This woman’s main problem isn’t a focus on career. It’s an inflated sense of self worth. She still thinks she deserves a top 1% man, the type that can pull a 20 something at 40 if he wants.

The problem is she can’t pull that guy, and honestly probably never could except for a hookup when the guy was on a backslide.

I know a lot girls who like to pretend the career thing is why they are single. The reason they are actually single is because they need a reality check about how valued they are. Any thin, okay looking girl like the author could easily find some guy to settle down with, but she still thinks she’s too good for that.
