My Mom and Dad are dead as well as most of my relation. I reached out to my Aunt but she isn't answering
The situation is my daughter, just moved back from Oregon, after being gone 2 years. She is a vegan, Lord help me. Her husband and the kids are vegetarian. Not the kids choice. Forced!
We have my grand-babies tonight for the first time in 2 years. We raised our grand-daughter, practically, her life til they left for Oregon
I asked my baby what she wanted for supper and she said hot dog, but you better ask my Mommy!
I know my daughter will say no but should I give her what she wants and keep a secret. I think both are bad

give her the hot dog. If they are forcing her to be vegetarian, it'll all fall apart one day anyway.

Honestly, speaking from experience as the one dealing with grandparents who wouldn't follow our wishes...giving her the hot dog is a bad idea.

If you go against your daughter's wishes, it will just make her want to make sure you stay out of her kid's lives. Thereby losing any chance of being a sane influence in their lives.

If the kid isn’t used to eating meat and you stuff her with hot dogs, she’s going to get violently ill and then 100% of your family will be estranged.

Give it to her. You already ran her off once and she came back, she will do it again, she will come back again.

Your parenting screwed up your daughter. By all means ruin the kid too.

You should Costanza this and do the opposite of whatever you think you should do.
