Oh please. It’s just a force meat. There’s countless force meats in charcuterie throughout the world. Now, I wouldn’t say it’s delicious, but for kids it is. Deny them being a kid and you’ll end up doing them worse harm later as they end up living off it because it was always denied them. That’s exactly what mother dearest is doing.

All meat is processed, but regardless, it’s a fricking hot dog. There’s worse that eating an occassional hot dog. There’s not letting a kid have a childhood. That’s worse.

We are here for you. Take her out to eat some fired fish, such as, Chick-fil-a, and Canes.
Take her for the soy burgers at McDonald's. This is the right of passage for grandparents. They get to take the grandkids and let them eat anything including lots of candy, ice cream, cake, etc.

Why is eating a hot dog an essential part of having a childhood?

Forcing a kid to be a vegan is absolutely ridiculous.

It is absolutely ridiculous and most vegan parents don't have the training, aptitude, or desire to provide their kids with proper nutrition from a vegan diet.

That said, if she's used to a vegan diet, I wouldn't start her on hot dogs first.

My Mom and Dad are dead as well as most of my relation. I reached out to my Aunt but she isn't answering
The situation is my daughter, just moved back from Oregon, after being gone 2 years. She is a vegan, Lord help me. Her husband and the kids are vegetarian. Not the kids choice. Forced!
We have my grand-babies tonight for the first time in 2 years. We raised our grand-daughter, practically, her life til they left for Oregon
I asked my baby what she wanted for supper and she said hot dog, but you better ask my Mommy!
I know my daughter will say no but should I give her what she wants and keep a secret. I think both are bad

I feel like you could replace the word "vegan" in this post with "lesbian" and it would still sound like the same issue.

Is forcing a kid to go to church ridiculous? All parents force diets on to their children cause you know they buy the food their children eat.

Grand parents spoil and give grand kids things they shouldn't all the time. Why should you be any different?

Respect the fact that he's a grandpa who wants to give his grandbaby something she's probably been really wanting, but is also worried about his Birkenstock-wearing daughter's wishes and doesn't want to mess up their relationship, jerk.

I feel for any grandkids you might have in the future, assuming by your post that you're not a grandparent yet.

And, come on. You really think that eating a hotdog is going to hurt the kid. It's not meth; do it once and the kid will be out working the street for her next fix.
