Probably as pissed as an ICE owner when their car catches fire. ICE vehicles catch fire on the regular and at a much higher percentage than EVs.

A neighbor who bought their house 2 years ago isn’t gonna be able to get it appraised for the same amount and the houses on the same street are gonna sell for less
I sold a house just before the huge price jump. My buddy sold his last Spring at the top of the market. I made $10K over 8 years. He sold for over a million. No way that house sells for that today. Some dude next door to my buddy, jut put his 800 sq ft house on the market for $380K. I'm guessing he hasn't gotten the news about interest rates.

EV fires are far less likely but more of an issue when they occur which is part of the reason you have been conditioned to think they are more likely.

quote:

The third-party online organization AutoInsuranceEZ recently published additional information after diving into data from the National Transportation Safety Board and government recall statistics. Hybrid vehicle fires ranked first with 3474.5 fires per 100,000 vehicle sales (16,051 fires). Next came ICE cars with 1520.9 fires per 100,000 sales (199,533 fires). BEVs were at the very bottom of this calamity heap with only 25.1 fires per 100,000 vehicle sales (52 fires).

For existing customers, the drop in prices of new models — some as steep as 20% — also means a hit to their vehicles’ once-impressive resale value.
Goodness, how stupid is this statement?

Although this is a first for Tesla, it isn't something unique to Tesla. Car manufacturers do those all the time. My F150 may have cost $8k less than yours depending on incentives.

People who don't understand houses are for 10 years or more if you don't have large amounts of disposable cash are insane.

I stated facts. ICE vehicles catch fire at a much higher percentage than EVs. Sorry the facts hurt you.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a car or a house, you decided what it was worth to you when you signed the papers. Maybe buy a used car if spending $77,000 on a new car that drops in price is that big of a deal.
