Not driving, but I’ve taken the train from Seattle all the way to DC then Atlanta.

Longest nonstop drive was probably Knoxville to Chicago. Anything over 6-7 I’ll either fly or train.

BR to DC when I was in college, was 16 or so. Left after my last final at 11 or so. Took adderrall and drove it straight. Was on I-81 around 2am and it was snowing, terrible planning all around but I made it. Return to semester I stopped in Auburn to see friends.

Now I have an 8 hour limit if I’m not driving with someone else. I’d rather just find somewhere moderately interesting to stop at.

I too was alone and attempting to drive from Branson, MO to Baton Rouge overnight. Probably about a 10 hour trip. Not bad really, but this is at night and it was raining. I started around 9:00 pm, after a Mel Tillis show.

Anyway, I was in the Ozarks Mountains around midnight when my fricking windshield wipers stopped working. I couldn't see shite. An 18 wheeler was on my arse and the glare in the windshield made it impossible to see. I did some heavy praying and made it to a small mountain town hotel. The hotel owner fricked me in the arse. The End.

D.C. to Houston. I should have stopped in Texarkana, but I was like, "hey, I'm in Texas now. Almost there." That was a rough trip down 59.

I’d cry too. You’d wonder if civilization even exists after 7 hours on that route.

Boulder to Dallas 17 hours all me.

Group of us did BR to steamboat, CO in a snow storm. Even the Bridge in BR was closed for ice, then Amarillo to steamboat was one lane interstate due to snow. Took 34 hours. Was brutal.
