Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm actually about to get a new pair of glasses when I get my new prescription because the pair I have I've had for at least a decade and they are beat all to hell. I only wear them around the house, contacts at all other times outside of the house. I've literally been putting off replacing them because of the absurd prices for prescription frames for something I only use 1-2 hrs a day inside my own home.

Look up EssilorLuxottica. That one company owns lots of brands (Ray-Ban, Oakley, Persol, Oliver Peoples, and Costa) and retail stores (LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, and Sunglass Hut).

Getting old is an experience

What kind of insurance do you all have? I wear progressives when reading and get free lenses yearly and $160 toward frames every two years.

I have a good vision plan at work. Got the exam and glasses for pocket change.

During the pandemic I self administered an eye exam and approximated my prescription, then ordered online.
