I deleted all social media

Went ahead and deleted Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat yesterday. No real reason besides realizing it did nothing positive for me.
I am catching myself looking to scroll through Instagram and it not being there though.
TD use has increased exponentially
Anybody else quit social media before?

I did this and ended up going back to Instagram but staying off Facebook has been good. Should probably get rid of Instagram and reddit tho.

About a year ago, and I'm not going back.

I had no interest in twitter, but I found out this morning that twitter will be selecting people for a challenge to go without using a smart phone for a year. The prize is $100,000.
So I created a twitter account. If I'm not selected I'll remove the account.

Did away with FB and twitter several years ago. Never really got in to snapchat or instagram.

No. But in October after losing my smartphone, I activated my old Motorola Razr for a quick solution. I still haven't replaced the smartphone. I have to say it's been incredibly liberating. I'll go back at some point but Im in no hurry or have a timetable.

The difference here is you can choose what you want to see instead of letting an algorithm designed to maximize usage time do it for you. If you get addicted to outrage here it's because you choose to go to the Poliboard or Rant.

You laugh, but part of it was all the drama from the parents.
Also, I am always looking for a new and better job. I don't need all of my college years posts coming back to haunt me.
