I broke Venmo.

So Venmo does not advertise any sort of limits. I tried to send over $6900 or so to someone and now my account is completely effed.
There’s no way to talk to a person by calling so you just email and wait. And they basically said “work with the recipient to pay them outside of Venmo”.
Anyone encounter this problem and successfully fix it? Also tried adding my account to husbands Venmo but that also didn’t work.

If you google “Venmo Limit” it shows a $4999 daily cap, and $6999 a week. Try breaking up the payments.

We tried breaking them up before Christmas to get a nephew home. Sent some payments from me and some from sis in law. Never could get it all to go through. It was a nightmare.

Venmo is Paypal with a shittier name. You can't expect much out of those people.

I'm assuming that they froze your account. Go here: Venmo Frozen Account Help
Follow their process.
It is not a quick fix. The account that I had frozen was linked to a business banking account, and that adds another level of scrutiny from Venmo. I was able to call my bank and get the info needed to get Venmo to unfreeze me.
This is not a quick process. It took weeks for them to work through everything with me.

Years ago my buddy thought he was being funny and sent the reason as “ISIS dues”
