I am not sure there is anything more frustrating than a toddler who refuses to eat

My Son did that. It lasted well into his middle school years. He would go a few days at a time eating practically nothing. There was absolutely no reason for him to do it. Perfectly normal kid with a very high IQ.
He survived it. He thrived in life and became an electrical engineer grading from UF with honors.
Bottom line is that they will eventually get hungry enough to eat.

True, I was one of those kids. Recall battles in the high chair over not wanting to eat what was offered. Maybe food was awful, who knows. Epic toddler resistance, and I remember those fights to this day.
But never had issues with my kids eating what we offered. They were happy. Teriyaki chicken nuggets, broccoli, mac n cheese. All fresh and homemade, not frozen, canned, or boxed.

If he don't want to eat let him. Eventually he will get hungry.

So damn maddening. I serve what we are having. If the toddlers refuse to eat, the only other option is a banana

Fresh fruit, ham/turkey, nuggets, and our 2 yr old actually loves hummus. We still resort to pouches every now and then for some hidden veggies.

Mine is a grazer. I keep food around for her all day. She wont eat a whole lot in one sitting but over the day, she gets there.
My bigger issue is the nighttime wakings. Sleep regression is a bitch.

My mother always said I was a very picky eater as a baby. Apparently I only really ate one brand, then they changed the formula and it was a real pain in the behind for her to find me another brand that I ate! Im still a picky eater to this day.

Yep. I’m living it as we speak.
It’s a daily nightmare of hormones and emotions.

I have a 16 yr old daughter at home and a wife that's going through some hormonal changes herself. Whole lot of feelings going on in my house.

When will your transition be complete?

A toddler who refuses to shite in the toilet is pretty high up there.
Eventually they get hungry enough to eat. Nothing stopping them from hiding in another room and blowing up their pants.

When they’re hungry they’ll eat

You'll get to do it back to them when you are 85 though

They will eat when the they are hungry enough. You have to have more will power and patience than the toddler.
Unless they are ill or underweight this is the answer. I have yet to see a toddler mount an effective hunger strike.
It can be a hard thing, especially for first-time parents, but when you just say frick it they will eat when they eat it almost always works. I found my son was a lot like a dog or a cat, sit down to eat some hot fried chicken and he would be drooling like he hadn't eaten in months. Then we would put his food in front of him and he couldn't help but eat.
