consume enough water

Make it a habit. Feel hungry or thirsty? Drink water. Want a snack, then munch but drink water. I drink at least a couple of quarts a day without thinking about it. Refill a 25 oz bottle several times daily. Also drink water at night if I wake up and first thing when awake in the morning. Had a Nalgene but using a Corksicle. Glass is better (nonreactive), like Lifefactory. Probably going back to a glass bottle.

Dang, good looking salad!

Dinner tonight is listening to Grover Washington, Jr. All My Tomorrows. Plus water for drinking and maybe a snack of leftover cornbread and senate bean soup.
1954 Chevrolet 4-door, not this Bel Air side trim chrome package but similar. A tank of a car, vv heavy. No power steering or power brakes. All mechanical.

After a big rig ran over grandparents on Airline Hwy around 1972 (in the 1954 Chevy, flipped the car a few times), they bought this 1969 Chevelle sedan, 250 straight 6. All mechanical. Heavy as half of a tank to drive, no power steering or brakes. Sold it years ago.

Then came John Henry, the 1976 Chevette. A hand-me-down ride. 250,000 miles, hole in the floor board, burned oil, and leaked coolant, but John Henry kept going. Didn't look like much, but he never failed. Strong as an iron hammer. [/img]

Talking story about autos. Owned a couple of Fords, meh, then a Datsun 280ZX, then a Toyota - then settled on Honda.
No regrets on vehicles sold. But memories of a few good ones.

Darn Tough Coolmax or another light to mid-weight merino wool sock.
Mexican cornbread bites and senate bean soup, no fancy cheese. Fancy marbled ham in the bean soup though.

Split leaf philodendrons

Cut off the wilted leaves and stems a few inches from the trunk, then protect the roots and trunk with new compost/mulch/pine straw. They should grow back. We have an old growth philo garden which has frozen down several times over the years, they grew back to 8-ft tall within a couple of years. If the trunks froze and died, the plants will likely grow new shoots from the ground.

Cheng's on One Calais. Ma Po Tofu and Mongolian Beef were excellent a couple of weeks ago, they also have lunch specials.

We enjoyed staying at Arbor House in downtown San Antonio. Rustic, small, nice outdoor gardens.

figure this shite out

What you think are food allergies may be symptoms of vitamin deficiencies or other metabolic issues. Idk. It's winter, so get the kids outside with their skin in the sunshine, supplement diet with D3, zinc, C, etc. Get them off of fast foods, off of gluten, off of processed meats, off of foods with heat-processed seed oils. Cold pressed oils are better - like olive and avocado oil. And organic foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables every day are a plus.

Honestly, if I knew then what I know now, when my kids were young, I would not have agreed to them being injected with doses of vaccines as is recommended by the Government today.

My 30'ish kids have allergies. I don't but did when was young. Here's what works for me - sneeze a few times or feel skin hives coming on, take a chewable vit C tab and, voila, gone. Like magic within a few minutes.

Thanks for this post. Have a fridge like this, came with the house a couple of years ago and the top ice maker never worked - didn't bother trying to fix it. Running defrost now.

Top notch, bruh.

Not cooking tonight, maybe boquerones with olive and orange & baguette bread. Sizzle garlic and ingredients in a pan and sop. Plus a sandwich.
Tut, the dog is distressed for some reason. May be wifi frequencies, cell phone, tv sounds/vibrations, electrical, plumbing, termites, varmints, or something else.

We had a house where we saw a shadow figure at night (only a couple of times, but enough), the kids would not sleep in their rooms because of it. We thought it was sleep paralysis/night terrors. But sold the house, moved, all was good after. That was 20 years ago.
Upvote for hoodoo. Trust your dog. It may be an electrical issue, idk. Dog tuned into something. We have a ratter dog, she's always right. We don't see, hear, smell, or feel it, but she does.

Dunno, came to the OT to look for the answer, too.
