For real, they shouldn’t be able to move it once. If they can’t get the landfall right on the first advisory, then they’re worthless.

Lol I'm assuming sarcasm, but half the people on here will support this dumb take. The variables that go into predicting a tropical storm are massive.

One thing often forgotten about that game cancelation, is that it wasn't canceled because of expected weather conditions in Gainesville. At the time the game was canceled, a Cat 4 was expected to rake the coast between Daytona and Jax, 70 miles from Gainesville. Gainesville was going to be the staging point for much of the recovery effort in the aftermath, and they didn't want the added strain of a gameday in Gainesville to interfere with it.
