Water is falling from the sky in Prairieville. I can’t believe it.

I’ll take that as a no. I'll take you as a self centered dickhead who is incapable of looking at a radar. Is that about right?

Because after two years, my house is still not finished from Ida damage.

For real, they shouldn’t be able to move it once. If they can’t get the landfall right on the first advisory, then they’re worthless.

Lol I'm assuming sarcasm, but half the people on here will support this dumb take. The variables that go into predicting a tropical storm are massive.

It’s gotta go through Florida first, and most tracks don’t have it going back into the Atlantic, so unclench your arse.

But LSU is playing in Florida-- maybe it is LSU that is the problem/hurricane attraction.

One thing often forgotten about that game cancelation, is that it wasn't canceled because of expected weather conditions in Gainesville. At the time the game was canceled, a Cat 4 was expected to rake the coast between Daytona and Jax, 70 miles from Gainesville. Gainesville was going to be the staging point for much of the recovery effort in the aftermath, and they didn't want the added strain of a gameday in Gainesville to interfere with it.
